Call it. Who do you think will or should start against the Commanders and why?

Not Rattler
Agreed. I think he only got the shot earlier this year because DA felt his seat warming up and needed a miracle/distraction/excuse

I think Rattler has tons of potential but would do good to go the Jordan Love route and get more time studying. He's gotten pretty far on ridiculous arm talent and athletic ability. If he wants to take the next step at this level, he needs to sit back and observe for a bit

I do think Rattler has potential, he just isn’t ready . I agree he needs a couple years seasoning . I have a good feeling about Jake Haener , I liked the pick when we drafted him .

Heaner but Rattler will compete seriously next training camp. I like to see both do well going into next training camp.

Haener is smart, has good accuracy but maybe not the biggest arm. Not trying to draw incredibly pre-mature comparisons or unattainable expectations but... We've had success with a similar skill set at QB in the past

He played fine, he had the same personnel issues as Carr, Carr is just a more experienced QB so he has a better feel for the position.

I do not think we can go wrong either way, but it has to Haeners turn as they both may potentially get 3-4 games to gain some experience and showcase their abilities.
