Went to Costco, on a Sat, with a hurricane a day or two away. I should get a medal just for that trip. Picked up a few goodies to help ride out the storm.

I took off toward the south and stopped by a Total Wine. Nothing unique was available and so replaced the Glenfiddich 12yr that was emptied yesterday.

Wife headed north to Costco and picked up a bottle for me (bday in a few days).. I’ve no idea what it is except that, “it was on the list you sent me long back”..

We’ll see…

Is this a good one?

I like the Angel's Envy, but that Russell's Reserve on the left is better, IMO.

The Russell's Single Barrel is better and 101 proof, but that Reserve is really good for its price point.

In '08 I walked into a local liquor store and they had bottles of '07 and '08 Birthday bourbon on the shelf sitting next to everything else for about $60.

Times have changed.
