Yes, but at the end of the day that's one game. The Vikings crap has been endless - losing on MNF with the missed facemask on Reggie, The Minneapolis Meaningless Miracle, their TE pushing off in the end zone to win a game in OT. And NEVER forget it was the Vikings that really started the ball rolling with the "Bountygate" stuff and still using it as an excuse as to why we beat them in the 09 season.

I blame the league for the Rams in 2018, I blame the Vikings for being the Vikings.

That being said if the Vikings won on some obvious terrible call as another poster mentioned, I might find a good bit of irony and humor in it.

And it goes back even further. The 87 playoff game. The 2000 divisional round. The gold jersey game. Wade Wilson.

If I absolute had to choose between those two pools of vomit, I think it would the Vikes for one reason - the Rams likely stole another SB trophy from us. Whereas of all the the Vikes beat us in the playoffs, I don't think we really competitive to take home the trophy anyway.

All those don't amount to another SB win, which I think is very likely if we played the Pats in 2019. In none of our playoff or even regular season losses to the Vikes, could I see us going on to hoist the Lombardi.

Hi all,

What's the vibe for tonight's game?
Tough to get a feel for it.

The Rams' home city is largely burning down in a lot of places right now....but their fan base is historically fickle and thin. It's not like if an old-line sports town with a lot of history was burning down. And so you wonder if the news makes any difference anyway.

The Rams are like if the Saints of 2014 through '16 had kept it between the ditches a little bit better and made the playoffs. The commonality is an elite QB, which in today's NFL, Stafford still qualifies as one. The Vikings could've had home field advantage with its perfect chemistry surviving another week, but couldn't pierce Aaron Glenn's defense for more than nine points.

And so, which team will be more "up" for wanting to win this one, what with the change of venue and how their season ended?

I'm taking the Northmen with the backward bull horns on their helmets buy 6, but don't be surprised if the officials determine the winner
of this game to be played in Lost Angels-less.:devilish:

I pull for the Falcons every single time they play the Niners.

I’d root for a team full of politicians, lawyers, & irs agents over the Niners.
I pull for a giant meteor, but same principle. Back in the old NFC West I never quite had the same Rams hate as I did 49er hate. The Vikings fans irked me far more recently than Rams fans did with the whole immaculate reception and the whining because we beat up Favre.

Hi all,

Yeah, I hate the Rams. As human beings, I wish the people of LA the best after the tragedy of the wildfires. As a sports franchise, the Rams can @)(!!@@$€›.

Yeah, we've had our heartbreaks against MIN but y'all have had more than your share of heartbreaks, too and you have a real fanbase. Rooting for the Vikes tonight w/o hesitation.

Also, the Vikings fans I encountered at the 2022 London game were all lovely, friendly people.

Now THAT is quite the find!

So a smattering of players from the 1993 season gathered for a poster that would be largely forgotten (certainly in comparison to the famous Dome Patrol poster in the late '80s). Shame 1993 basically marked the beginning of the end of the Patrol and of playoff runs with Mora. Wilson burnt us a time or two as a Viking QB (he had some good wheels on him, as well as an arm) but he was already a 12-year vet by the time he replaced Hebert. Was another case of a washed vet spending the tail end of his career with the Saints.
