Here's my totally unscientific reason for Kellen Moore.
Like with Sean Payton, I want Jerry Jones to see us be successful with a coach he had on his staff but that he let get away.

The game didn’t have a particular effect for me - just agree that Brady and McCarthy are my leading preferences.

Already wasn’t as high on Glenn.

I’m not really high on any of these folks so Mike McCarthy. IMO his failures in Dallas are mostly on Jerry Jones. I know he’s not going to get us to a Super Bowl unless he gets an elite QB but he’ll at least get us back to being competitive.

A big no way to McCarthy. When we got Ditka, he'd been out of coaching for three years and the game passed him by. In Jerry Jones' system, he's little more than a yesman, and by all accounts, he hasn't coached anyone since he got there. Hasn't called a play since he got there. Just hired coordinators, and let them do their thing.

McCarthy. High floor. After the last few years, I prefer predictability and stability. And he might get Loomis to listen. A new coach might get steamrolled by Loomis.

Ummm, McCarthy has called the plays for 2 years at least.

I went with Brady for one reason. His age. If (and it’s a big if) he turns out to be a championship caliber coach, I want to be able to keep him around here for a long time.

I don’t believe there is any way of knowing which of the candidates will be best for our team without putting them on the job. We can only hope that if we find our next ‘Sean Payton’ it’ll be a guy who loves it here and will be around for at least two decades.

Joe Brady, high upside, you can move on from him much faster if he ends up being a disaster by just saying he wasn't ready and use his age.

I want whoever is the worst head coach so we win 1 game the next 2 years, we fix the cap, get some young good players and come into the 27 or 28 draft with the #1 overall pick when Arch Manning declares so that at that point Payton comes BACK with Manning and we win the next 10 Super Bowls

Joe Brady or Ben Johnson are the only choices. If McCarthy gets hired, I'll be a very distant Saints fan til he gets fired in 2 ir 3 years. McCarthy sux. We wanted him in '06, and I'm glad he wanted Green Bay.

Aaron Glenn is a great coach, but we need an offensive coach. Johnson is the best choice, but Brady is a close 2nd.
