N/S Why has it taken so long for Caleb Williams to be exposed as a Bust? Smells like the Jets Zac Wilson. (1 Viewer)

You keep posting the same link over and over from a dude that puts ludacris grades on players. He put a FIFTH ROUND grade on Anthony Richardson. He's gotta just be doing some Skip Bayless schtick for draft evaluation to get clicks. He has some nuclear takes.
It is not my take, but, the stats are real. He is highly over rated. I said I wouldn't draft Caleb Williams in the first rd. Just like I said about Bryce Young, and Zach Wilson. I thought about putting Anthony Richardson in the mix as not a 1st Rd, but I don't think he will be a complete bust. He was injuries early, and I like his arm and athleticism.

It's not the opinion, you realize, right? It's the offering as a statement of fact as if it's common knowledge. Had you said, "There's something about Caleb Williams' maturity or, i don't know, emotional instability that doesn't sit well with me. For all of his physical talent, i think he's going to end up a bust. Here's a link to site i frequent that goes into a little more detail," then all of the conversation is about that. But that's not what you were after. Framing it the way you did made it about you, not the opinion, so that's where the discussion has gone.

I question his emotional maturity as a leader and face of a franchise.

I use that guys link because he included so much information. Just last few years, the talking heads were telling us that Tua, Bryce young, and now Caleb Williams were generational QBs. Meanwhile, the best 3 QBs of the last 5yrs, are Burrow, Herbert, and so far CJ. No one said any of them were generational QBs.

Burrow? I don't think he's to the point where he should be considered generational, but there were many, many people who thought he'd be a very good NFL QB. He looked and played like a vet NFL QB in his last year at LSU.

Excellent. Do you have any evidence of it apart from that one site?

Because i would counter your article with this one: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.oc...multuous-season-a-year-shaped-by-emotion/amp/
You can tell a lot about a QBs leadership skills and people in general, by how they handle disappointment. Go cry in the arms of your mom, on the failure of a big project you have been entrusted with at your new job. See how long it takes before they can your butt. Of course it matters. This isn't pee we football, this is billion $$$ NFL.

You work at a place that would fire you for taking comfort in your mother?

I clearly said he was never called generational.

Then I'll rephrase, I don't believe it's accurate to say that Tua and Bryce were considered better prospects than Burrow.

We are getting of the trail here. What I was trying to say, is of late the pundits are throwing out the "generational player" tag on Tua, Young, and now Williams.

When in my view Burrow, Herbert, and now CJ, are better players than Tua, Young, and now Williams. No one ever called Burrow, Herbert, and CJ. as can't miss generational players.
