Even after 10+ years, he still plays like it is backyard football by throwing it up in the air and hoping the best man will catch it. Does anybody have the brass to let him sit and let the streak end? He has long passed his best years and should be replaced. I know that McCarthy is not the coach to do so, but he will loose his job if he continues with this man.

He's the best QB on his team...and in his division compared to Grossman, Brad Johnson and Kitna. He's getting paid...he likes what he's doing. And the young QB the Pack is grooming as his replacement is on IR.

Green bays in a tough spot. Theyve got so much respect for Brett no one wants to give him the yank. For the sake of the team it`s time to move on. But Aaron rodgers has a broken foot so they might as well play Favre. I like watching him play anyway.

OK. On a fair reply, since A. Rogers is on the IR this makes this question a moot point. I wasn't aware of the situation. I feel like M. Irvin on ESPN.

***I'm reposting this because I haven't lit myself on fire just yet***

I'm so freakin sick of EVERYone's love affair for Brett "Throw it up for grabs" FaVre, I want to light myself on fire. I don't care about his stupid records, I don't think he's the toughest human being in the history of mankind. I know he has 3 MVP's and I know he played in a Monday night game the day after his Dad died. Good for him, Iknow he's going the Hall of Fame...but he has 1 Super Bowl ring and about 9 thousand interceptions in the playoffs. I just don't understand why everyone in the booth, everytime he plays, has to talk about him non-stop during the entire game. I can understand why you would wanna give the guy his due props because he has been a great QB in the NFL and he has done it for a long time but to go on and on and on and on ... like everbody does, is just damn ridiculous.

Okay I'm done. Oh BTW...there was a time when I was a Farve fan....not anymore, I'm just sick of hearing about him. okay....Now I'm done.

I never thought he was great after his super bowl run. Ever since then, he has been the luckiest QB in the entire league (hell in the entire NFL history). Ever since then he just plays like it is just backyard football and Madden simply calls it love of the game, well hell yes when you are making 5+mil a year. Fire away!!!!]

Because he's still pretty good, he's still getting paid a crap load, and he still wants too.

Im not sure which is worse the love affair with brett orthe one with vick
Vick. At least Favre has won 3 MVP's and a SuperBowl. Vick? Well he knowingly spread herpes to an innocent nurse and gave the bird to his hometown fans, all while completing less then 50% of his passes recently, but he can run, so the media loves him?

Without Favre the Packers = the raiders. Without Brooks, the Raiders = Arizona.
