Why is everyone so scared of the Patriots?

You mean besides the 4 Super Bowl appearances and three wins this decade, the record-breaking offense and perfect regular season just 2 years ago, the 7-3 record, and giving the Colts all they could handle and then some in Indianapolis just a week ago?

The colts should have won that game. If they play us like they play the colts, we're going to dominate them. We have a good running game, the colts dont.

Seems to me, they should be scared of us. How the hell are they going to cover a mixture of Shockey, Colston, Meachem, Henderson, Reggie, Thomas (Both Pierre and David), and Bell on the field at the same time? How the hell are they going to run on Ellis, once he comes back? How the hell are they going to protect Brady? We're getting lots of pressure and sacks now...

I think we match up MORE than well against them.

It is simply because they are the Pats and have been winning and winning big for several years now. They deserve it to an extent. That is why it is so important that we take care of business next Monday night. We must show everyone who is the new bully on the block and who is still pretty good but not quite there any more.

No way the Pats beat us in the THUNDER DOME no way! We will not loose a Home game this year mark it down.I have no fear of the Pat's at all.They are a very solid football well coached and never quite.Same goes for the Saints 1 major difference we are home.Saints win going away 38-21.

And yet they still can't beat a single team with a winning record. Our offensive line blows theirs out of the water, our QB is better (according to stats this year and polls on who people would rather have), we are MUCH deeper at WR, and we have way more weapons on the field than they do. Pierre Thomas, Reggie Bush, Lance Moore, Marques Colston, Meachem, Henderson, Shockey, I mean all of these guys are capable of being strong home run hitters...

And our defense WILL come up with a pick or two, if not more. We're the most opprotunistic D in the league.

Everybody need to remember the Pats are not the same team from 2 or 3 years ago. The defense is a shell of it's former self. Nothing to intimidating about it. Belichck know it too. Why else do you think he went for in on 4&2 on his own 28. We have to much for them to handle.

Anyone who's read my post in the last 5 weeks knows I have been critical of our performances. Maybe I should keep with the trend but I see us WHOOPING the Pats or at least giving them a respectable but whipping.

I disagree with on the recievers edge. They have Welker, Moss and Faulk. Who else? We have Colston, Mech, Moore, Shockey,Buch, Thomas ect, ect, ect. You can't focus on one or even two guys and shut us down. You never know who's gonna get the ball because they all get the ball.

honestly, Im more scared of the Eagles. I think Desean Jackson is becoming an even better receiver than Moss. Moss is aging and will slow down rapidly. Desean is brand new and ridiculously fast and athletic.

with Kevin Kolb, yes. Eagles were reeling from injuries early in the season.
WE did beat the crap out of them but we are bound to struggle against them going forward.

I'm not sure if it's the Patriots that scare anyone. I think it's more of that team with the old QB thats 1 game behind us in the chase for HFA. Thats the thing I want more than a undefeated season.

I don't think it's scared, it's a chance to show we have arrived with the big boys. With our rash of injuries especially on defense I think Brady could have a big day. People don't want us to be exposed especially on the biggest stage.
