Well he was on a one year prove it deal.

I think with the injury, he will sign another one year prove it deal to stay in NOLA.

Unless things get interesting with Russell Wilson in the off-season Winston re signs.

I say yes.

Personally think he performed as good as you could have hoped with this lackluster supporting cast. Plus SP and the team seem to love him.

Maybe we get a good deal since he's coming off injury.

If he'd have finished the season, I don't think we could've afforded him next year. Under the circumstances, I'd be okay with us giving him another shot on another prove it deal

He'll be back Sean and the team like him. I never bought into the idea he was going to get hot and leave.

I hope so. His trajectory was pointing in the right direction. I think, for the money, there likely won't be a better option.

I think he and the Saints come to a fair deal to keep him in house.
Depending on the rehab time, he may not be fully ready come training camp.

I'd love to have him here to compete again though and think he's absolutely earned a second shot here.

Saying all that. I think you absolutely have to go all in on Wilson in the offseason.

I really believe he has a loyalty to the Saints and Coach Payton and that loyalty is mutual from the Saints. Thus, absent some outrageous demand, which I don't expect, I see him coming back and becoming the Saints starter next year.

The offense has been horrible. I feel bad for Winston but let’s not pretend he was playing well. I think he was close to the bottom of the league in passing yards and total offense with him at the helm.

It's all speculation. No one knows at this point because there are too many variables. I will say if I were JW and this just happened to me, there is zero chance that I sign a 1 year contract again.
