With the 10th Pick in the 2025 draft, the Saints select? (46 Viewers)

If our Qb isn’t there, we take the best available OL in the 1st every single year until our QB is there.

We are not going to fix the salary cap in one season. I would trade this years 10th pick for a 1st and second next season, eat as much cap damage as possible, suck balls for 2025, and hopefully have a decent cap situation and a bunch of draft picks to build on starting in 2026

I just don’t see the Saints organization willingly sacrificing a year in this blatant of a manner. For better or for worse, if Mickey Loomis is in charge again, he will go down swinging as far as asset management and attempting to win is concerned.

The desire by many to see the team do a total, full-on reset is going to be met with disappointment, IMO. Not saying it is the correct way or incorrect way, just saying people should adjust their expectations accordingly.

It’s sad. Kind of feels like we should be picking top 3.

This was going into last week so it is outdated now, but your feeling is not unwarranted…

We are definitely getting screwed by the Football Gods yet again and should be picking somewhere in the neighborhood of pick 5.

Who trades up, and for what player?
I honestly don't care what team and for what player.

I just know that the Saints are not "one player away" from competing. They are years away from that. Ashton Jeanty, Cam Ward, Shadeur Sanders, whoever, is not going to miraculously make the Saints better. They would waste away for three years.

I've said it before: Tom Brady in his prime would do nothing behind the current offensive line in New Orleans. The game is won and lost in the trenches and the Saints need to concentrate solely on the O and D line.

True... but! Brady would whip the OL, WR, and TE positions into a rythm by game 6, and they would play up to their potential. That's why a good QB is paramount. If the QB, OL, WR, and TE aren't almost like Borg, they won't play up to their potential.

We need a QB!

We need guards and an upgrade at tackle although Penning did better than last year. We need depth at center but McCoy has been among the best centers in the league. This is first time I recall he’s been injured. Don’t need a starting center just depth.
I had to look, cause it feels like he's always injured. 5 games missed in '21, 4 games in '22, he didn't miss any '23 (I was surprised to see this..), and has missed 9 so far this year. Not exactly injury prone, but it sure hurts when he misses games. A really good C/G that can play both positions would be huge. The interior of the offensive line is garbage, and we'll be playing for draft picks until we find some replacements. Skill position players are flashy, and make fans happy, but it won't matter who they get if the QB gets no time, and the RB has no running lanes.
