With the 10th Pick in the 2025 draft, the Saints select? (22 Viewers)

I just don’t see the Saints organization willingly sacrificing a year in this blatant of a manner. For better or for worse, if Mickey Loomis is in charge again, he will go down swinging as far as asset management and attempting to win is concerned.

The desire by many to see the team do a total, full-on reset is going to be met with disappointment, IMO. Not saying it is the correct way or incorrect way, just saying people should adjust their expectations accordingly.

I expect Loomis will do next season what he did this season: He's not going to spend much, he will do the bare minimum cap wise, and he will either keep the picks he has or try to trade back and get more.

The Saints have never had to do a full-on roster turnover since after the 2005 season. It has been so long a lot of people forgot what that actually looks like and it isn't releasing 25 players in one offseason.

If Tet, Graham, Carter are all gone by 10 I have 0 issue with Jeanty. Then in the second you grab a stud guard and the saints could start to build a new identity. I know running backs are easy to replace, but Jeanty is special.

I mean he’s the best RB to come out since Saquon or am I forgetting someone?

After watching him in the bowl game, I'm not so high on him now. I mean, I won't be mad if we pick him, but there are other needs also.

Really? I mean his stats were low but he was breaking like 4-5 tackles for 3 yard gains, his oline let him down. IMO and he still looked insane

I’d really really like to finally have a jump ball WR like Tet, but he won’t be there.

Eh, we need an OL worse than they do, lol. Unless we shore up the OL, getting Jeanty will result in him having performances like the bowl game.

What about free agency before the draft?

What about in the 2026 free agency period or the draft?

2027?

We aren’t drafting just for 2025, and I am not sure why people are expecting some major OL reconstruction; we only have one starting spot open.

From what I saw,I liked that TE from Notre Dame and it sounds like he could be drafted second or third day

Bijan, but yeah, guys like him don't come around often.

Our run game has been nothing to write home about, even with some decent RBs. Jeanty isn't special enough to fix that. He's good, don't get me wrong, but it's clear he needs a good line in front of him.

And maybe we can resolve that in FA or in the draft, but a RB at 10 in the first round is risky. They get hurt more often and tend to have short careers. Juice isn't worth the squeeze there, imo.
