Meanwhile Jalen Milroe missed on 8 consecutive passes. Maybe you take a chance on him as a UDFA.
I agree. The Who? is less important than the distribution of draftees. If Mason Hunter is there you take him, if Tet is there you take Tet, or any top player in their respective positions. We do need to make sure we draft 1TE, 1 Left OT, 1 LB, 1 Safety, a CB, 1 Edge player and 2 DLs.I e said it before. Saints go best player available. There is no place on this team that cannot be upgraded. Take the best player availible, and if there’s a group of evenly talented guys, try to trade back and gain picks. They need an enormous boost in talent everywhere.
If he's there, you take him, too talented.Tyler Warren, TE
If we take him, I want OL, DL & OL to be the next 3 picks...I believe were taking Jeanty if he makes it to 9. If not, I want Warren.
trade back twice, need so many players, get 10 plus picks, time to rebootLooks like we will be the 9th Pick in the draft so who you got for our first pick? Do you think we trade up or trade back?
Can't draft this dude sorry. My new top 3 wishlist:
1. Mike Green EDGE Marshall
Emmanawori was definitely one of the biggest stand outs of the combine so far, probably raised his draft stock big time. But, and maybe this is the former draft nerd in me, I can't shake the Taylor Mays/Obi Melifonwu combine freak trap from this guy. I just get that vibe. Definitely not a top 10 imo, but I certainly wouldn't be mad at us taking him as a second day guy.My new top 3 wishlist:
1. Mike Green EDGE Marshall
2. Tetairoa Mcmillann WR AZ
3. Nick Emmanwori S/DB South C
Mike Green is the definition of potential matching production & he’s only gonna get bigger, stronger & better in the pros. That’s my dude at 9. TMac has the makings of becoming the next Mike-T type. Id be all good w/him at 9. Ive always liked him, but seeing him ace the combine w:thise numbers confirms EVERYTHING you see on the field. Emmanwori’s has the skillset to develop into a Derwin James type of player, but in a bigger, faster, more explosive body type. But what makes Emmanwori so interesting me, is his big play & ballhawk ability. Emmanwori is prob one of the most versatile players in this draft.
His tape isn't good either.Emmanawori was definitely one of the biggest stand outs of the combine so far, probably raised his draft stock big time. This. Give me Graham, Tet, Jeanty, Warren, Pearce, or trade back. Can't draft this dude sorry.
Two sexual assault accusations is just... yuck.
I only know him from the combine so can't speak much to him as a player. I looked him up yesterday and the consensus seems to be he's a genetic anamoly that has a spotty record as a player. He seems like the type of guy that if he gets drafted by the right team and right system can become a top tier safety. Not sure a rebuilding Saints defense is that system. His tape isn't good either.
Really really stiff hips and very uncomfortable in space. This is exactly the guy you hope goes round 1 to push someone down to your pick.
