Agreed, that was a terrible penalty given, the 2nd goal though? Thing of beauty....France looks like they are walking with concrete galoshes on ....I wonder if that virus/cold is the culprit, they don't have the same energy they usually have....

Argentina has dominated the game, no question; France, I don't know what happened to them; I didn't think they were as good as some made them out to be, but this is bad. And indeed, that 2nd goal was a thing of beauty.
But that call in a WC is just unacceptable. And it isn't just that one call; obviously that's the huge call of the game, but there have been a number of egregious calls-no calls. The MX commentators are still talking about it, on calling it a stain and another saying "I guess they couldn't find anyone else to referee this game".
