If Cleveland was smart they should have put a clause in his contract that makes it voidable is there were more cases/future cases. Cleveland should exercise said clause immediately. Watson is trash.

They do have an out if this becomes true. They’ll be able to rid themselves financially of him.

I guess the Browns gonna be looking more closely at their QB depth chart this season.

Although I find it hard to notice the difference between suspended Deshaun, injured Deshaun and playing football Deshaun when it comes to how he does quarterbacking.

I think yes. At least with Carolina they have a young QB and can hope for the future. This is supposed to be Cleveland making a run at a championship. What a disaster

It's going to be interesting. Most NFL contracts have a "morals clause" but Watson's was all fully guaranteed which teams never do. I wonder if he also insisted on no morals clause and if they left it out?

Not in Cleveland -- this allegation actually dates to 2020 in Houston, around the same time the other allegations were said to take place and before all the other stuff had become public.

But this one is straight up alleging rape -- the Texas statute of limitations for sexual assault is five years, so she could also file a criminal complaint.
