Not in Cleveland -- this allegation actually dates to 2020 in Houston, around the same time the other allegations were said to take place and before all the other stuff had become public.

But this one is straight up alleging rape -- the Texas statute of limitations for sexual assault is five years, so she could also file a criminal complaint.

It's going to be interesting. Most NFL contracts have a "morals clause" but Watson's was all fully guaranteed which teams never do. I wonder if he also insisted on no morals clause and if they left it out?

His contract protected him from any voiding of guarantees for suspensions in 2022 and 2023 related to his previous lawsuits. I believe a suspension in 2024 and beyond would give them an out to void his remaining guarantees.
