Deuce not looking good: per Todd Graffaniti 1280 reports (2 Viewers)

Have Reggie carry it 20+ times with Stecker getting it a few and see if Reggie can do it. His best games came when he carried it more. If he proves he can run it 20 times with Stecker spelling him, Deuce can go ahead and get his knee scoped now and be back for the rest of the season without too much dropoff.

The saints run two diffrent skeems whith duece and reggie. It is rare to see a fullback in the backfield with reggie. where duece almost always has a fullback. I think this is why you see with some of the huge holes duece has to run thru while reggie is fighting for every yard. I would love to see reggie with the holes duece has. If duece is injured like they say we may see more of theis.

I heard a little bit of kenny and bobby on wwl talking about this subject on the way home from work.
I personally am not going to get too worked up about it until I hear something official about him not being able to play. Jammal Brown has me more concerned. Is simeon rice playing this week? (not meant to threadjack, just curious)

Ya, what he said...

Todd Graffanitti (sp ?) is Gerry V's switch hitter on 1280. Todd Graff. used to be on WWL I believe..........he's a Tulane Boy.....Local and has been going to the practices daily.

Switch hitter? or Pinch hitter?

He's not listed on the injury report at all.

If it is scar tissue then Deuce will be able to play through it.Once the scar tissue tears it loosens up and is not too bad.He can be as effective as he needs to be.On the other hand...I would like to see him get the time to heal by getting it scoped and be healthy after a few weeks.

Duece is going to play till that knee explodes, he is truely the heart and sole of this team.

I have been saying this all week. Glad some one "in the know" has done so as well. I actually just posted about this in relation to the tampa game. NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS. He only came back into the game when Reggie got hurt and did nothing aswell. He has no cut back ability.... I know he's a straight ahead runner but lets be honest with ourselves here.....

I heard the same show last night it wasn't even a thought but Mr. Kenny "I know ever thing" Wilson will tell us midway through the game sunday all about it.

This is the Bucs we're talking about. The Saints could line up a couple of girl scouts in the backfield and they'd still gain 100+ yards on the day.

Are you kidding me, Deuce doesn't need that knee, Deuce can beat Tampa all by himself just hoping on one leg. In fact heard the Deuce plans to actually tie his good leg behind his back and beat Tampa with JUST HIS BAD LEG. Don't mess with the Deuce, the Deuce is loose.

lol lets make it happen, tie that thing up and get it out of the way

ive looked at evry injury report i could find - deuce's name is no where on any of them -

I'm not sure his hammy was ever the problem. He did do stretches after "tweaking" it.

But when you watch the clip when he pulled up lame he reached for the knee, not the back of the leg where the hammy is...

From what I saw of the replay, He reached for the back of his leg just above the knee. So I still believe his hamstring cramped on that play. But it wouldn't be shocking to find out that his knee needs to be cleaned up...I kept wondering why Deuce wasnt getting his touches against Baltimore, so this may be part of it.
