Would you trade AK and our #28 for the dolphins #3 and #18 pick? (1 Viewer)

The #3 pick is where you can draft a franchise QB, a franchise LT, or the best defensive player in the draft. You don’t give that up for a RB, even the best RB.

I would do it in a second - Only thing is that the Dolphins would never do that, nor would any other team in the same draft position. Now I do see them trying to deal with Houston to get Watson!

Kamara is the engine to our offense. All we need is a threat of a passing game, then AK becomes even more dangerous because defenses will have to play back more opening up space.

No way. Kamara is one of those generational talents. The next closest thing is CMAC. But weve seen this year that Kamara's best dwarfs CMACs best.

Any Team needing a QB is going to throw Miami a better offer.
I wouldn't fault anyone at all if he wanted to rank Kamara 1A and CMC 1B or vice versa, but to say that either dwarfs the other is pretty ridiculous.
You do realize that CMC became just the third RB in NFL history (Roger Craig 1985, Marshall Faulk 1999) to have a 1,000/1,000 yard season in 2019, right? I would say Kamara could reach those numbers if he were asked to handle the kind of load that CMC has been asked to carry in Carolina, but the fact that he hasn't should at least benefit him in terms of lengthening his career.

Fields & more specifically Mac Jones are NOT worth the 3rd overall pick in the draft. But Wilson most def is. So, right there is the major selling point.

First & foremost, i love AK just as much as everyone else, & i wouldnt do it because again, I LOVE AK. But let's be real here....if a team is stupid enough to give up the 3rd & 18th overall picks in the draft for a RB (albeit an all world RB) & pick 28, you take it.

Losing AK would be heartbreaking to us, but you know Payton will find a guy, or guys, to move the ball on the ground efficiently & catch screen passes. A trade like that would give us Zack Wilson & either Bateman, Waddle, Najee, Ettienne, the BPA on Def/Off etc. It’s all wide open at that point.

To fans, we balk at losing a talent like AK, but to actual NFL shot callers, that’s a trade you cant refuse. I mean, ask Jimmy Graham & Brandin Cooks about it. They went for even less.

No, just no. You don't trade a generational talent like AK for an unproven. I'm sorry, I can't get on board with that line of thinking. Great QB in college does not equate to great QB in the NFL. Too risky

Okay... Let me help you guys out...

You DON'T trade an ELITE offensive weapons to draft an Unproven Quarterback. A rookie QB needs the most talented supporting cast they can get.

All I had to do was read the title, and the 1st thing that came to mind was "Trade AK ????".. smh.. close the thread, or better yet, just delete it.. LoL.. seriously, shut it down.. no offense to the OP, but damn man, like one of the 1st replies stated, it's too early to start drinkin'.. sheeeesh!.. trade AK, LMAO!
