Movies from when we were kids

He learned it from that documentary they made. I think it was called "Boogie Nights".
Actually, I learned it from when we had BlueRay vs HD DVD war. Because one of the big Porn producers went exclusively to HD DVD and everyone thought they were gonna be the deciding factor again. But (i think) Sony decided to go BlueRay and Netflix and Walmart followed suit, and that killed the HD DVD...

Although i do love watching Boogie Nights.... Its one of those movies if i see it on, i'm stopping and watching it, you know, for history reasons...

It was Burt Reynolds first dramatic role since Deliverance. If I remember correctly it was his only Oscar nomination

Night of the Comet - It's a cheesy, campy, end of the world movie where a few teenagers / young adults are all that are left after a comet passes.
This is another favorite.
This reminded me of Miracle Mile with Anthony Edwards

Well, I wasn't a kid .. but omg I LOVE this movie.

The first movie I saw in the theater was The Love Bug, followed by Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Marooned. Marooned scared the crap out of me. I was 8 when my dad took me to see it :hihi:

The first movies I remember seeing were The Nutty Professor and It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. We grew up on Disney movies and whatever was being shown on TV at the time. Mom and Dad never missed a James Bond flick and if they couldn't get a sitter my sister and I would go too.

@SystemShock mentioned The Wonderful World of Disney. I couldn't get enough of that. It was when Dad first told me about Imagineers.
I saw It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World on TV along with The Great Race, Those Daring Young Men in Their Flying Machines, and Those Daring Young Men in their Jaunty Jalopies. Good slapstick, they were fun. Then at 16 we all discovered porn at the local drive-in's dusk to dawn shows.

I was 14 so maybe considered a kid. Enemy Mine was a good movie that seems to be forgotten.
