Glenn Foster Jr. (edit: former Saint arrested in Alabama, died in custody) (1 Viewer)

This is crazy. I'm actually friends with him and his family. In my experience he is super professional, cool, straight up classy guy. This is def a surprise to me.

Looks to be him:

Curious about what all happened ... this article is just a month old and makes it look like Foster has been in a really good place post-retirement:

Good people get into fights from time to time. Any details on the situation? Either way, I hope he's doing ok.

Wow. That's a name I haven't heard in a good while. He was the one player almost every one was excited about. Had a good preseason and then got hurt and didn't play a game for us.

Wow he was down here in Biloxi for the Shuckers game (Saints night) a few months back.

Jail records show Pickens was arrested Sunday in the small town of Reform, Ala. at about 12:30 p.m. on charges of reckless endangerment and resisting arrest by “attempt to elude.” Those charges were replaced at 3:16 p.m. by three counts of simple assault and one count of 3rd-degree robbery, the jail records show.

it would be best if this is some bizarre and tragic accident - but the liklihood of that...????

What in the world? this escalated way too quickly.....
He was in custody for 3rd degree robbery and 3 counts of simple assault with a next to nothing bond amount and died in
police custody?!!!

What?!

I can’t believe it. He reached out to me a few years back about some financing through LinkedIn, and I stayed in touch with him over the years. This is a shocker. Great guy. I wonder what happened.

The "attempt to elude" and then dying in police custody is very worrisome.
