I suspect they won't release it all, no, no the nationwide reaction right now is a little too tense and raw for that as Nashville chief of police said. But, at some point in the future, they might release an edited, condensed version.

I don't know how much it'll change our perception of who this person was and her motivations were other then most probably feel right now and that she was a fanatical nutjob, who supposedly harbored these long-simmering feelings of resentment and hatred towards this school and institution, or hated this version of Christianity so much she decided to kill 6 people, including three children.

Do the police make a habit of releasing gunman's manifestos? I don't really remember hearing about other gunman's being released other than ones that were taken alive and it was brought into court as evidence or ones that were able to plaster stuff off the internet before they began their rampages.

I mean if you want to encourage more shootings like these, releasing the brain droppings of every shooter to be blasted out on the 24/7 news cycle seems like a good way to get them.

There wouldn't be a black market for drugs if they were legal (not expressing an opinion on legality). Should you take away guns, there will most definitely be a black market supplied by our friends south of the border. That industry would spring up almost overnight

I would argue that the two industries are totally different. It would be much more difficult to illegally manufacture firearms and sneak them into the country than drugs.

Didnt the MSM actually release some snippets of the manifesto of the Virginia Tech shooter way back in 2007 several months after the tragedy and I don't believe it was too terribly long after the Columbine shootings that media outlets were articulating the different motives surrounding why those two gunmen opened fire on their fellow classmates? I mean, it took a long time for the entire, unvarnished truth surrounding what happened in a minute-by-minute context during the Columbine shootings and a lot of long-running, urban myths (like Klebold and his accomplice not being Marilyn Manson fans, or that Klebold asking some of his soon-to-be shooting victims if they were Christians, or believed in God).
