A microcosm of Winston’s career (7 Viewers)

They hate Jameis. He was tryna win man...but they won't see it like that...you know the saying in the South.
"Gotta work twice as hard and be perfect"
That attitude will keep you from advancing. Even if that’s true, that’s a defeatist attitude. Youre giving the power to fictional characters, and also stripping your own power away. Life is too short to try to change the world, but what you can change is how you look at things. (I know my statement is more serious than your post, but I’m just saying)

This game demonstrated JW’s arm talent, the reason he was drafted #1.

Then, JW demonstrated his lack of situational awareness and football IQ in the clutch. An NFL QB should NEVER throw that ball into triple coverage with plenty of time on the clock and a timeout remaining.
I agree. He has all the talent but consistently makes bad choices. Sometimes his talent bails him out. It was frustrating watching him chuck it.

I think that pretty much everyone on this forum knows what we have at QB. The only one who gets a pass for now is Haener.
If what Jameis, Carr or Taysom brings to the table is baffling, you haven't been watching. That being said, this organization has bigger fish to fry and it starts a lot higher up.

I was sure in my heart of hearts Winston was gonna win this one for us. Wanted it for him. But he did what people thought he would wanted him to do.
I got to a point where I realized we weren't going to win this game but I kept watching because I wanted to see what Winston would do with another opportunity. That first drive, I was happy for him to come out and take the team down the field. After the 2nd TD, I started realizing that regardless of the outcome, there were going to be people happy if we won but unhappy that Winston played a positive part in. Finally, I watched the last INT and forgot about everything he did prior to it because I knew that there would be the same crowd who simply do not like Winston and stand ready to blame him for the loss. The bottom line is that the dude came in and showed the people who believe in him exactly what they thought he could do and at the same time, he showed the people who do not believe in him exactly what they said he would do.

This is the answer.

You gotta call it out when you see it.

24-3 under Carr and crickets for his performance and they wanted Jameis to become Toussaint Louverture and scramble a W against the odds..but Carr can geaux out like Custard without a fight and it's crickets..."but Jameis..."
Absolutely nailed it bro.. it’s apparent Carr was meh, Winston shined and almost won us the game yet he gets all the criticism

If we arent going to be competitive, might as well see what a few games of that looks like
I think you meant to say, if we’re not going to be competitive, we might as well have an internet race riot lol
