Ryan Clark Calls Sean Payton a Thug (4 Viewers)

Honestly, it's more than numbers. Truth is, film and metrics match.

Week 1

Week 13

We still see a lot of the same things, although they began implementing the system during the offseason. A lot of this has been a Russ thing for YEARS. Again, we assumed that because he was successful in a different system that he is a "good QB." Skillset never really was a fit and Russ has always been an off-schedule guy.

Can you get those 2021 numbers for JW, TS, and Taysom?

I don't disagree regarding a mismatch between Russ and Sean; I'm simply pointing out the unnecessary theatrics and the lack of diplomacy involved. The fact there were discussions behind the scenes about waiving his injury clause, and then you start "getting in his face" is just theater. If we can get the playoffs, I'll continue the charade, but if we don't, I will make an example out of you.

I agree with you. In the situation, the last person I'm mad with is Russ. You offering me all of this money and I haven't even taken a snap? lol

But I think that it should have been handled different and if the injury clause guaranteeing the 2025 salary wasn't in there, he would have been cut without incident. It is a messy situation all around, from the people who gave him the contract, to the situation itself. Honestly, I think CSP might be the lightning rod but who knows.

Terrible word usage but SP has turned Russ into the most hated player (last year) into a beloved player with one decision to bench him (financial reasons). Sometimes the grass isn’t always greener

I agree with everything RC said. I wish Payton were still our coach, but RC is right.

It annoyed me when Clark brought up Brees kissing more babies. Truth is Brees never got benched because he handled his business. Wilson hasn’t been good for a while.
Russ hasn’t played like Brees, but he hasn’t been terrible this season.

If he was still in NOLA, he would be able to do anything because he’s earned it here.
But to Broncos fans, he’s not “Sean Payton.” He’s a highly paid coach that’s underperforming.
He beat KC first year there, he had a 5 game win Streak and got the media talking about the Broncos. What did you expect for his 1st season? An AFC championship? We haven't won 5 games in a row with DA, have we? Also, he beat teams with a winning record, have we done that?

100%. He excels at extending the play when the pocket collapses. Plus he reads the field much better than Carr.
Not if we’re running this same system tho. Russ would look worse than he does with Payton in Denver because it’s the same system, but worse play caller here.
