Hot Takes Welcome (Post Raiders Loss) (1 Viewer)

I’ve been saying for weeks and multiple posts today that if…if….Rattler is the choice going forward - he needs an offensive coordinator that can work with him and build an offense around him.
Rattler had really 11 games and some fill in @ OU where he looked good and had a good team around him. Then he spent 2 yrs at SC behind bad OL but he did have Leggette @ WR. He did not progress much from his Fr yr to his Sr. yr. Can he undo the bad habits he assumed in college ? Who knows

You talking about this week?
From reading the quote it looks like Allen took over. They go through 30ish plays a week at walkthrough pace. Meanwhile Cardinals would go through 200 plays.

Yeah Nick said it was a weird Christmas schedule. Rizzi is not nor has ever been the answer
Oh ok no this was a pissed off Mathieu basically giving some insight as to why we've been so bad at tackling and have had so many injuries. He said it had gotten better but it was too little too late.

Rizzi isn't but he at least made watching Saints football bearable for the first time in a couple months. And he was never going to get a fair shake with as much as there was to fix.

I think the team should give Rattler a chance to compete for the starting quarterback spot against Carr next year, and with a new coach at the helm, I think that it’s a real possibility that we have that open competition.

I’m not expecting playoffs next year, and I am expecting a house cleaning, but the beauty in the NFL (unlike many other pro sports leagues) is that parody is alive and well, so I am expecting a better season than this Hindenburg of a season that we just witnessed. One year ago team can be a bottom dweller, and the next they can make the playoffs.

I also don’t that think Mickey is the guy to get us back on track unless he hires another Sean Payton type.

I got a 15 yo on the spectrum and the kid’s brilliant
Mine too - he has a laser focus on things he's interested in like I never had - and has electrician skills at 15 to the point that our guy that wired our add on to our house is letting him apprentice for him this summer. We got a new dishwasher this Christmas and he begged me to let him wire it up (I never knew that new appliances don't come with a cord....geez) - I watched him do it....he's amazing, I love that kid!

We are that bad. If someone says that the Saints are the worst team in the NFL, don’t fight it. They are right.

Rattler is a good quarterback, he is just playing with guys who shouldn’t be in the NFL.

Rizzi ball isn’t dead, but it’s on life support.

I only had one eye on the game, and the other on some crawfish chowder. This game wasn’t worth focusing all my attention on the game.

Jokes on the Raiders. Their win is ultimately their loss.

New Year, New Saints.
Rattler is dealing with the same problems that Carr has had to deal with, Rattler might get better with time, but I'm not ad confident as I once was

Hot take:

The coaches are not to blame. They’re putting players in the right positions, the players are just not executing.

On offense the QB is throwing 1,000 mph fastballs every play, the receivers are dropping balls hitting them straight in their hands, it’s mainly due to a lack of talent on that end with so many backups to the backups playing.

On defense it’s time for a few guys to hang up the cleats. They’re getting ran over, a step too slow, and just getting pushed around or outran.

The team needs some old heads to take a paycut for next season, or just retire, and we need an influx of youth badly
Thank you. And I don't believe one of them has missed a tackle
