Vehicle plows into crowd on Bourbon St., with 14 fatalities (5 Viewers)

I think it probably is. Just saying they are doing all this work in the tourist areas while the rest of the city falls apart.
They don't call it The City That Care Forgot for no reason.

So there's surveillance that shows him placing the IEDs at those intersections where they were found. What time did he do that?

cool. keep yo janky arse streets lol.

( drove down Bellaire in Lakeview last week and there is a !@#!@# manhole/street section that looks like small mountain near 26th - i stopped because i had no idea how to get around that thing )
Prior to my kids attending Jesuit and Mount Carmel, I was really only familiar with the Lakefront and the restaurants in Lakeview. When they started making friends at their schools that lived in the area, I got familiar with the “streets” there and it still surprises me that the residents put up with that. Dude, those are not potholes - they’re what’s left over after a meteor hits. :covri:

If your oil pan can't take a 2' drop onto concrete you have the wrong vehicle.

I worked with a guy from Phoenix who temporarily lived in Lakeview off St. Bernard. He said at the time his wife was going to be moving there a few weeks later with their Mustang.

Me: "Uhhhh... you have noticed those potholes have you?"

Him: "Yeah. I'm wondering if need to trade it in once she gets here."

Phoenix is a grid city with perfect streets. I went there for a job in 05. I was thinking I could move there. Big city, all the sports teams, etc. After living there for a year I left. That place has no soul, no identity, like a New Orleans. Wasn't for me.

Were she someone I knew as a friend, my advice to her would be therapy to understand why she stayed in a relationship like that so long and to understand how NOT to get into another one like that. Sounds like she doesn't have any idea what she's doing relationship-wise.
Long story very short. 49 years old college graduate with a good job. Crappy relationship with her mom. The ex is a deadbeat dad, but party fun dad with the kids. Her mom and dad help with college for the oldest 2 kids. She’s afraid mom will cease helping so she’s looking for someone “who’s emotionally and financially stable to help me get my kids through college”

I’m on shaky ground both financially and emotionally. I told her this on our first date, and explained why. She was fine. Until she wasn’t. Good riddance. I’ll be more careful next time.
