Not all that surprising. He's got a great job and he will probably get a big raise. Maybe he feels he isn't ready yet and it's not like Allen is going to regress and he won't be able to get a shot at a HC job in the next year or two.

He wouldn't be fine, but I think he certainly would lead an unintentional tank. He's a good motivator, but that's about it and an NFL HC needs a lot more than that. If you hire Rizzi, you might as well really tear it all apart because you are going to be starting over in 2 years anyway. But, I guess he could get us records that would get us good draft picks.

I was told by a friend that McCarthy is thinking about taking a year off. That’s the reason he hasn’t set any interviews. We’ll see but I’m going put some money on Rizzi right now at +1500
