ESPN’s Mel Kiper mocks Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart to Saints at #9

I didn't want to start a new thread on this so I'll just post it here.

Did you know that Derek Carr got injured on a 2nd and 10 run w/ 4:06 left in the 4th Quarter? From a decision making POV...doesn't it make sense there to live to fight another down? Perhaps ending up 3rd and 2 with your wrist intact and no concussion?
Personally, I had no issue with Carr's decision to go for the first down, just like I didn't have a problem with Ingram's decision to run out of bounds against Tampa Bay, even though I thought he might have been able to make the first down.

Most players start to press when the team is struggling as much as the Saints were. They're competitiveness and desire to win leads to them pressing.

I’m highly convinced that if there any other QB, not named Sheduer Sanders, who threw for 4100K yards, 74% completion, and 37 TDs vs 10 INTs, then everyone would want to sell the farm for him. Look, I’ll admit that his attitude/bravado is off putting to a lot of people, but to say he’s not worth a top 20 pick is ridiculous. Give me a guy with his level of confidence, along with his accuracy, and pocket presence
Probably going to Vegas

They just gave Geno a new Deal.
The falcons did the same thing just last year
Geno is older now and was a top pick
faced adversity and criticism early on he could be a great vet for sanders who will face a lot of criticism regardless of what happens
Not every team waits until their current qb can’t throw to get a new one lol

That's true, I wish we would do something like that.

I don’t think Pete Carroll wants to wait for a rookie quarterback to develop.
That’s why they got geno but you always have to think about the future , he’s probably gonna give you 2 more decent years after that your gonna need a qb and your in Vegas it’s a business they tryna make money and sale product how many football names bigger than sanders maybe manning ??? But why wait and hope when you can get what you want now for later

Naw, that’s your opinion. Just like it is mine. Heck there’s some respectable people out there that don’t even have him slated as a 2nd round pick. Heck the Saints have a 2nd round grade on him, if NH is correct. So no, it’s not ridiculous at all.

Last name Sanders? Like what? Lol. Deion is my favorite athlete of all time that wasn’t a saint. By far and away. So no, you’re wrong on that part. Idc what his last name is.

I care that he can’t manipulate the pocket, I care that he can’t diagnose a blitz, he can’t see pressure, and yes his OL could be better but a ton of that was on him. He’s vastly overrated BECAUSE of his last name, and he has been well-coached up in his lifetime, he’s likely already reached his ceiling. Thank God we don’t have to worry about us wasting a pick on him.

Again, this is simply my opinion and the opinion of a few people out there that I respect. In the end, we don’t know if the opinion will end with any factual merit. However, to say it’s ridiculous as if you know or have some insight that we don’t, well, that’s the ridiculous part.
