ESPN’s Mel Kiper mocks Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart to Saints at #9 (19 Viewers)

Too high for him imo. Wouldn’t hate it tho, at least it’s taking a shot on a QB.

If he’s mobile then KM might like him.

I didn't want to start a new thread on this so I'll just post it here.

Did you know that Derek Carr got injured on a 2nd and 10 run w/ 4:06 left in the 4th Quarter? From a decision making POV...doesn't it make sense there to live to fight another down? Perhaps ending up 3rd and 2 with your wrist intact and no concussion?

You’re right. Chiefs moved up 17 spots and gave up 2 1st and a 3rd.

We need to move up 8 spots and I don’t get the impression the Titans are married to a QB. Not sure what the cost is but I’d pay 2 1st and a 3rd.
Who is the player you would do that trade for?

Last time we tried this we got Mark Ingram and he turned out really well! Wasn’t Jorden the first pick then?

I am good with trading back up to get him late in the round but he’s a really big reach at #9
I wouldn’t say that MI turned out really well. He did not give us 1st rd production, like he should have. He eventually showed his worth like 6 years later

I agree with something you said earlier about Sanders holding onto the ball too long and scrambling around in the pocket, which leads to sacks, but he does step up into the pocket pretty well. Dude is fearless when it comes to that. He doesn’t mind if the defense is collapsing and if he takes a big hit. That part is concerning bc NFL players are bigger and stronger, so he may take a good bit of “remember me” shots.

Everyone should know how I feel about what we should do in this draft. I want skill position players. Give me 2 TEs (which may not be possible now with the JJ contract) and a RB. Plus, the rumblings here in Charlotte is the Panthers want Warren.
So, I won’t settle for a WR. If Tet is there, which I doubt he will be, then run to the podium. Finish off the next two picks with at least a TE and a RB.

Now, IF Sanders is there at #9, then the FO will have to have some conversations bc obviously we need a franchise QB going forward. Although I did like what I saw from Rattler

Btw, when I referenced Drew’s accuracy, I meant his accuracy in the NFL. He wasn’t that accurate in college. I’m just saying that ungodly talking points for accuracy, should be considered across the board. Not for a few select. If a player is accurate then they are accurate. It’s literally one of the main things, if not the main thing a QB should be.

Accuracy is underrated, but I think part of it is it's so hard to gage accurately because if the WRs aren't on time or run bad routes, which happens a lot in college, a QB might not look as accurate as they are. As a result, I think it's not something that gets noticed as much, at least not by the average fan or even draft nerds who study the players. It's just easier to see things like mobility and arm strength.

Personally, I had no issue with Carr's decision to go for the first down, just like I didn't have a problem with Ingram's decision to run out of bounds against Tampa Bay, even though I thought he might have been able to make the first down.

Most players start to press when the team is struggling as much as the Saints were. They're competitiveness and desire to win leads to them pressing.

I’m highly convinced that if there any other QB, not named Sheduer Sanders, who threw for 4100K yards, 74% completion, and 37 TDs vs 10 INTs, then everyone would want to sell the farm for him. Look, I’ll admit that his attitude/bravado is off putting to a lot of people, but to say he’s not worth a top 20 pick is ridiculous. Give me a guy with his level of confidence, along with his accuracy, and pocket presence
Probably going to Vegas
