But is every TE a strong possibility?
Goedert is not any stronger a possibility than Gesicki, Hurst, or Andrews.

I beg to differ, but you are entitled to your opinion.
I just think sometimes we fall in love with our own favorite prospects and throw the blinders on to what the Saints will actually do.. And we don’t know how FA will play out.
Anything is possible, but the Saints have had two formal meetings with Goedert and many consider him the best TE in the draft. If the Saints draft a TE in the first round, my money would be on Goedert. I just said it's starting to look like a strong possibility.
Saints also met with Gesicki twice though. And TE is a very shaky consensus according to experts. It’s not as cut and dry with experts as Vita Vea being a top 15 prospect in the class is. Just poking fun with that one.

I think I’ve kind of been enamored by athletic traits lately thanks to some of the big combine numbers, but I’d like to touch back on Sam Hubbard. I went back today to rewatch him some, since the Saints have now admitted they’re in the market for some edge rush help. Watching Hubbard’s game film at Ohio State, the guy has a relentless motor. His athletic numbers won’t blow anyone away, but they’re pretty solid. You look at his technique with those numbers and he’s got all the makings of a very solid edge guy in year 1. Payton’s connection to Meyer is legit, and I think Hubbard is a name to remember on the first night.
Yeah, I think you're right. If I had to mock the 1st - assuming no crazy falls - it'd probably be Hubbard.
Goedert for me. He surpasses Vander Esch after these FA signings.
Maybe. But don't arbitrarily rule out the late round TE's. Remember when we drafted Cam Jordan 24th overall? Gotta go BPA in the first.
Yeah I'm not ruling out anything.
I'm curious - how would you rank them.
