Two of my favorite late round / udfa RBs.

Martez Carter reminds me of Tarik Cohen from last year.

LoE news on PJ Hall says he going to run 4.6 forty and leap a 38 inch vertical. At 6 feet and 315 lbs. His pro day will be March 26.

Mercy. That's more athletic than Aaron Donald at 30 pounds heavier. This dude could be a super sleeper. I should have went and watched him play vs NSU.

This Martez Carter is an impressive guy from a small school, Grambling. In watching his tape here he's obviously got good speed, vision and balance. AT 5-7, 204 he looks like a Darren Sproles clone but a little heavier. Going to find more tape of him but at first look he made it look too easy against that competition.

So true.

If one discounted the measurables, the career productivity alone should've been enough for a Combine invite. Not to mention the Shrine game performance.

As good a place as any to plunk down a mock draft.

27. LVE, LB, Boise St
91. Ian Thomas, TE, Indiana
127. Ade Aruna, DE, Tulane
147. Deontay Burnett, WR, USC
164. Kalen Ballage, RB, Arizona St
189. Leon Jacobs, LB, Wisconsin
201. Poona Ford, DT, Texas
245. Taron Johnson, Weber State

Decided to go for more potential guys at certain stages. And trying to predict how we might draft if certain players are still on the board. I'm more interested in Rashaan Evans at LB at 27 or Dallas Goedert. But I feel either they'll be gone or that we like LVE just that much. Kalen Ballage would be a steal that late. Even though we don't need a RB. Just feels like a pick we'd make. Same with Taron Johnson. Only knock was speed and he's got enough of that, as proven at the combine.

Alright Eman5805. Here's mine.

1. LB Rashaan Evans
3. OT Tyrell Crosby
4. DE James Looney
5. TE Dalton Schultz
5. CB Tony Brown
6. FB Dimitri Flowers
6. DT PJ Hall
7. S Troy Apke

I'll keep it going.

1. TE Dallas Goedert, South Dakota State
3. DE Josh Sweat, Florida State
4. CB Quenton Meeks, Stanford
5. LB Fred Warner, BYU
5. WR Trey Quinn, SMU
6. FB Dimitri Flowers, Oklahoma
6. DT PJ Hall, Sam Houston State
7. S Troy Apke, Penn State

Dalton Schultz! Nice! This is in the instance we dont land Suh.

1. Mo Hurst DT/DL Mich
3. Hercules Mata'afa EDGE/DL WSU
4. Dalton Schultz TE Stanford
5. Jaleel Scott WR New-Mex St.
5. Jeremy Reaves S/DB South Alabama
6. Braxton Berrios WR The U
6. Scott Quessenberry OG/OT UCLA
7. Matt Linehan QB Idaho

This guy. Definitely fits a role in Sean's offense.

Attacks the ball at its highest point, strong hands, back shoulder up field mold, intermediate route type. Bodies up and uses his height.

One of those guys that is a steal for saints late bc of the role he'd play here but elsewhere he'd be thrown in the fire and flunk out bc of his unpolished route capabilities

Reminds me of alshon Jeffrey.

Yeah, I like the Jaleel Scott pick too. Berrios was another good one. On a related note Chark is one that I keep coming back to.

I wonder if Suh will really land here? I hear it's down to three teams now. That would shake things up a bit.

Chark with Drew + Sean calling = not fair. Bonified guy that can take the lid off a defense.

As for suh, would love him but tbh saints went an entire season without main guy Fairley, plug and play unit all season with injuries and defense made huge strides

He'd no doubt be more than the answer at DT but tbh we just need an answer type player. If vita is there... You grab him. The maniac DT from Florida. There's at least as four DTs early that can fit... one should fall.

If we don't go TE at 27, I like Schultz a lot, but I think I like Tyler Conklin even more. Conklin is a baller and I've been sleeping on him until now.

I really really want rashaan Evans, if we can sign suh Evans gives us the last piece we need as a Sam backer for this defense to be elite
