Quick question for everyone, are we going to be coming back to this thread to discuss the ongoing game today? Or do we need to go to the pelican board?

I usually start the GameDay thread on the Pels board, but I'm at the Blender tonight. I'm sure someone will take up the cause.

I guess the question would be has Zion been practicing with the team? If so how does the team look? Personally I would wait until the Fourth game to bring him in, we know Booker is going to be out for both of them. This way Zion can practice with the team one more time and get ready/get their timing correct.And like someone mentioned limit his minutes.

Well that's the thing. NBA games come in hot. The most you can get in are walk throughs with the gameplan.

There just isn't enough time to try and bring him into the rotation without it costing the team heavily at this point.

Same reason why you wont see Jamal Murray or Ben Simmons. It's just not a good time to bring in players who haven't played all year.

Glad it was nothing, I loathe all Atlanta sports as a general rule... but never wish harm.

Besides, the Hawks pretty much only get spillover ire from my Falcons and Braves hate... I only have so much to go around.

Speaking of hated rivals, since there is more time than expected till gametime... who do Pels fans hate the most?

Im a Rockets fan since the early 90s, and there is a pretty stong list of dislike... but the Utah Jazz are the pinnacle. Plenty of on court hate from the Jerry Sloan days, most Rocket fans(who were fans in the 90s) would at the very least have them in their top 3. I was also born in Louisiana, so knowing the team was stolen and the audacity of a team based in SLC using the name Jazz just keeps them at the top.

That sucks, there’s no way we should be affected by this they could easily put the game on ESPNews or ESPN2 or ESPN college or even ESPN 37 at this point.

I actually liked the Hawks back in the day. Dominique Wilkins and Spud Webb made for some fun games.
