How about you ask your boyfriend to get rid of that girl. And ask him to send me her number, please.
They don't call it PITTS-burg for nothing. She'll hate it there.

It's time for the baseball team to put up or shut up. A loss to Alabama today will eliminate them from the SEC Tournament and likely the NCAA tourney as well.
Really sad for such a talented squad to be in such a predicament.

LSU is getting blasted on yet another Sunday.
This season should mercifully end today. These Tigers are pitiful. :hm:

LSU loses the series to Bama and will need a major miracle to have a shot at the upcoming tournaments. At least it was a complete loss to the Tide and everyone can point the finger at themselves for the series loss. The Tigers couldn’t make anything happen on defense, on the bump, or in the batter’s box. It’s been a while since LSU has looked this bad. :jpshakehead:

It's for the best that it ends now. Much easier to just know that they have no shot than to think mayyyyyyybe they have the slightest glimmer of hope.

Just call it quits. Season appear over before it really started. This squad seemed to never had it in them.

Would LSU be the first team to win the national championship and then not even make the tournament the next season?

It’s a bit surprising that it hasn’t happened more often. If a team wins it all with a squad full of draft eligible players, it can be hard to field a quality team the following year.

But I think the biggest reason for these recent champions struggling so much in their ‘defending’ season is more because of playing in the SEC; where at least half the teams now are a legitimate threat to make it all the way to Omaha and beyond. The Tigers had a killer schedule this year having to play a Top 10 team practically every week.

Got that one in just in time.

LSU has had a lot of chances to get some base runners home and put up a big lead. But they are leaving a bunch stranded and now the Rebels have gotten back in this game with a two-run shot of their own. :covri:
