They're off and running at Hoover this morning. LSU vs Georgia is in the 1st inning and the Tigers are up 2-0 early. I'm liking this so far! :hihi:
 
Bases loaded with one out and the Bulldogs are already going to the bullpen. LSU could use a hit here and put up a big number in the 1st inning. Remember, it's single elimination in the first round of this tournament.

With so many attending the CWS whether LSU is in or not doesn't really hurt as much lol
 
Sadly, as has been the problem all season, LSU left the bases loaded without getting any of the runners home.
Gotta have some hitters to win ballgames. :cry:
 
Georgia has some big hitters in their lineup. The Tigers will need some solid pitching to keep them from putting together some big innings. LSU needs to keep scoring. A LOT.
 
Another bases-loaded; one out situation for the Tigers in the 2nd inning. Hope they learned something.
 
Only slightly better result. LSU got one of the base runners home.
3-0 as we enter the bottom half of the 2nd inning.
 
Right on cue the Bulldogs are setting things up to have a HUGE 2nd inning. :covri:
 
Jump got out of a jam only giving up one run. LSU must get more runs today. 3 won't win this game today. :shocked:
 
Down quietly in the 3rd for LSU.
Georgia's big hitters are up next in the Bulldog lineup. :shocked:
 
Milam comes through with an RBI in the 5th. I really like that kid. 👍

Braswell hit into a double play to end the LSU 6th inning, :cry: but at least Millazo got a base hit RBI to make it 5-1.
Still a lot of danger ahead in this game... especially once Jump is done for the day.
 
It's hard to say what has happened to Jared Jones & Hayden Travinski. Both guys are completely ineffective at the plate. They are either guess wrong on the pitches and striking out looking, or popping up for flyouts. These guys need to wake up and get hot for whatever is left of the season. :hm:
 
Kinda saw the writing on the wall last year with Jones not effective on the curves sliders dead fastball hitter....
