The announcers on the SEC Network just explained that according to the rule Neal could only have been guilty of obstruction if he was touching the plate or did not have possession of the ball while blocking the plate. He clearly already had the ball AND he was not touching the plate.

The SEC needs to fix that farce rule before the next conference game or else teams will be stealing home every game in order to get free runs.
