Aaron Rodgers says Saints are their biggest threat (3 Viewers)

On a football level, I dislike the guy. No reason other than he doesn't wear the Black&Gold. On a personal level (I don't know him, just observations) he seems like quite a goof, which isn't a bad thing. His photo bombing is some funny stuff, and I think a lot of the time he's screwing with the media during interviews and it comes off as arrogance, but he just thinks the people he's talking to are a joke.

Why dislike Rodgers for the media hype surrounding him? Has Rodgers sought this hype and fed the hype-machine? I haven't seen where he has. Just like with Romo, the media creates the hype.

:idunno: I guess thats just the Saints fan in me.

It's better than the word '' Hate'' that gets thrown around like water balloons,
I just don't like em'.

I know it doesn't make no sense.

Ha! And the funny part is that the folks at ESPN would probably argue with HIM that the Saints are the toughest... never mind the fact that Rodgers actually plays the game against them.
Hey, the folks at ESPN aren't bush league, ya know. They would never let anything like facts or actual reality get in the way of the story THEY have decided to spin. Over and over again. 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. Without fail. With virtually no deviation from one talking head to the other.

Aaron Rodgers is a smart guy. That might offend some people. But before he won his Super Bowl, people were lumping him in with Philthy Phil Rivers, and Jay Cutler, as show boat types who havent proven anything (remember he started his belt thing before they lost to the Cards (who we beat the following week)).

Now that he has won a title people are noticing that, ok, he isn't a *****, just a confident guy. There isn't anything wrong with that.

I was listening to Bill Simmons yesterday he was saying the Cowboys could handled the Packers and could go to the SB. He also said the Saints are 1 and done in the playoffs.

Brees: Superbowl champion 2010
Rodgers: Superbowl champion 2011

Yeah, I would say so. Manning only won one Superbowl, while we're at it. All of those terrific seasons he had, yet only one Superbowl victory. Not to insult Manning, but it just goes to show you how hard it really is to win a Superbowl in the NFL.

Given the fact that his team is 0-10 without him and look every bit as good as a bunch of drunk little rascals imitating the circus clown fire brigade, it's a wonder he ever won the one.

I wish we didn't listen to the media and just focus on us. All they want is the story of the week or to talk about how good GB is or how bad the Colts are (plus when we get hot we lose[see the rams]). I prefer to remain under the radar, and I think as a coach and team it makes it easier to tell the disrespect/us against the world narrative.
