Aaron Rodgers says Saints are their biggest threat (2 Viewers)

Aaron better give us props since he ask Drew Brees to train with him last season.

After Rodgers won the super bowl, Brees sent him a text saying "you are welcome."

I wish we didn't listen to the media and just focus on us. All they want is the story of the week or to talk about how good GB is or how bad the Colts are (plus when we get hot we lose[see the rams]). I prefer to remain under the radar, and I think as a coach and team it makes it easier to tell the disrespect/us against the world narrative.

Good grief, did you just use the term "under the radar" in a thread about the best quarterback in the NFL this year, playing for an undefeated team, stating without hesitation multiple times that the Saints are their biggest threat?

Think about it, people.

There is no. such. thing. as "under the radar."

I think he knows that it takes an explosive offense to keep up with the Pack. Saints and Packers are built almost identical.

1.) Deep and explosive at the WR and RB positions

2.) Freakish TE that's tough to defend

3.) RB by committee

4.) QB that's an MVP candidate

5.) Defense that gives up yards but loves coming after the QB.

Which brings me to this:

Will Rodgers/Brees become the new Manning/Brady?

Could we please quit putting Brees behind everyone for once...your reference should have been

Will Brees/Rodgers....the new Manning/Brady

Brees got a superbowl ring before Rodgers...but he goes first regardless of that fact.

Differences

1) Ints Thrown Packers- 3
Saints- 11

2) Defensive Ints Packers-17
Saints- 5

That's the difference

Pretty much.

Still astounding me that Rodgers has only throw 3 INT's.

Yeah... with them throwing as much as they do you'd think he'd have more, but he's just very careful with the ball, and to not have any tipped-pass INTs is just crazy.

how many does Drew have that went off someone's hands? I remember 2 for sure... Meach twice (TB and Jax).

I still dont think their receivers get enough credit. I mean it seems like those guys are always wide open, know exactly when to go up for the back shoulder, and ALL of them can go the distance.

Quite a few times every game, Aaron Rodgers throws to WRs that seem blanketed by perfect coverage. Yeah their WRs overall are better than ours. They work to help him out. Seems like our WRs don't put forth that same effort to help Drew out and he has to make a perfect throw.

2 things defined that game.

Cobbs td return, and Colstons fumble. If one or the other hadn't happened we are talking about a whole different situation right now.

As a Saints fan, I really want to agree with you, but the Packers flat-out won the line of scrimmage and that will be a main prerequisite to a win in Lambeau in January.

Don't get me wrong, I think we can definitely play with them -- but Shaun Rogers will have to show up big (a la the Browns game against us last year) in any rematch, and I am hopeful that de la Puente would show up better than Kreutz did against their interior run defense.

Why do I feel like Payton is purposely being light on Ivory so he's 100% and fresh for that specific match-up?

If anyone else says other wise, they're dumb. We are the two most explosive offenses in the league, let alone the conference. I hope we do meet them in the NFCCG! It's would be EPIC, and I'll be damned if we get swept.

Put it like this, if Rodgers was our QB, I'd love 'em. But since he's the #1 obstacle in the way of us winning another Super Bowl...he's a smug snake that needs to be skinned.
