Aaron Rodgers says Saints are their biggest threat (4 Viewers)

Rodgers will finish the season with 10+ ints and at least 4 fumbles in the regular season. History has told us that you can't keep that pace, we know this with Brees. 6/7 of his remaining games are in the elements and against some decent defenses... He will falter, it may not be enough to displace them from the #1 seed, but it will be enough for him to waver in his confidence.

I still dont like the guy. OTA workout by Brees was not no joking matter and i am still hot behind that. He is a good QB but Rogers is a arrogant a******!!!

I hope they go undefeated and we meet them again....I'm gonna LMAO!!!

everyone seems to be on the bears bandwagon as of late but dont they remember how much the saints dominated poor lil jay cutler, dude didnt even wanna play the 4th quarter

You know, I think a good snowstorm in January would be a huge advantage for us this year

Which probably means it'll be 50 degrees and sunny :hihi:

They should ask him where he learned that back shoulder throw everyone is freakin out about in the media.

Everytime I see Rodger's now I remember him taking that shot at Brees after the game they barely won about player gathering.

Ever since then, I have been waiting for the rematch. He doesn't '' seem '' cocky, he is.

Everytime a player gets hot everyone jumps on the sack, but ALL of em, even Brees has a cooling off period, thats when you see what they're about, Brees weathered the storm already, Rodger's hasn't, thats why I'm with Skip Bayless on this as much as I HATE SAYIN THAT!

Part of it is that they're good receivers, but there's more to it than that.

Coaching is a part of it - McCarthy has become a mad scientist at designing plays that create space for the receivers. And, when you have that many good receivers on the field, there's almost always going to be someone open, because you can't double everyone. You can double Jennings and Nelson, hope a safety or linebacker can pick up Driver in the slot, and put another safety on Jones, but then who's left to cover Finley? One of them is always going to be at least somewhat open.

But more than anything, I think it's just Rodgers. He makes guys open who'd be covered if anyone else was playing quarterback. How many times have you seen a DB have absolutely textbook coverage on a receiver, and Rodgers hits him anyway? He only needs a window the width of the ball, and no matter how well you're covering a man, there's always a spot where he can reach the ball but you can't. Rodgers just throws to that spot. That's it. That's how these guys are open. It's Rodgers more than it's them.

this all sounds so familiar.

and disagree with the the first part of last paragraph. drew could make those throws. has been doing it for years now. the master of the back shoulder throw, needling the ball into a spot where only his receiver could get it.

He wasn't taking a shot at Brees. He was taking a shot at the media. They're the ones who made a big deal about the off-season workouts.

Brees and Rodgers are equally accurate. Rodgers is more accurate out the pocket. Packers receivers > Saints receivers. Graham > Finley. McCarthy = Payton. I agree the Packers have a slight advantage. Don't count us out though!

Saints @ Packers NFCCG 2012 = EPIC

I know but it was after the game against us, with everyone knowing Brees was one of the ones doing this, and maybe 99.999 % of it was indeed towards the media, but the smirk seemed to me like a mock, with the room laughing with him.

I just take that kind of stuff like shots, rather im right or wrong, which im usually more wrong than right, but im saddle with that way of thought.

But I cannot disagree with your statement.

i find it hard to dislike Aaron Rodgers...

sure he can come off as smug sometimes, maybe a little cocky; but i think it's just confidence

I hated his TD celebration until I saw the insurance commercial with discount double check and I even started to like him for that.

This is ridiculous, it's Dallas. ESPN told me so.
