Actor/Actress with the Most Impeccable "Nerd" Credentials (1 Viewer)

I go to at least 5 or so each year (prepping for New York now).

"Hanky panky" has happened in the past, but since the days of #MeToo and increased attendance due to popularity of the various genres, that's been virtually eliminated. I would imagine it's still possible at the extremely large events like SDCC where they hold events off-site during the event, but yeah, no. Marina isn't inviting me to any empty room for fun. She'd do better just inviting me to her hotel room.

(On another note, Marina Sirtis looks so much better with age today than as Donna Troi on ST: TNG).

She was hot as Troi, you're saying she's even hotter now?

@GrandAdmiral and @Sun Wukong would know much better than me but I've heard that decades ago (70s-80s) anyone involved with Original Star Trek was bagging some major tail at these things

Is physical D & D with a DM, people in a basement still a thing or did it go online or just morph into RPG video games?

I'm not saying convention hanky panky happens anywhere near as much as for the male actors but I'd be stunned if it's never happened

Doesn't @GrandAdmiral go to a lot of cons?

I'd be interested to hear his opinion
My daughter frequents those cons every chance she gets. She's got some stories, lol. I don't know that it's frequent in the broader sense, but...absolutely, it does happen.

Actual physical D&D is bigger than it's ever been. There are online options like Roll 20 and things like that, but there are more people playing in person D&D than ever before.

That's interesting. I always think of it as such an early 80s phenomenon, I remember some comic and games stores like Wizards of the Coast having D & D, that was in the early - mid 90s

I don't know if it from West End Games or not but in late 80s early 90s there was a Star Wars RPG that I really wanted to get into, I had a bunch of the books (still have them somewhere) Still couldn't get into the game but I loved the books as a Star Wars Reference/Encyclopedia
