Ahsoka Live Action Series (Disney+) (1 Viewer)

Finale episode run time is
42 mins...huh, I was hoping for more--a lot more, but oh well...
It has got to be leading into more. I can’t believe Filoni would deliver us this masterclass of Star Wars and not stick the landing

Now there have been Easter eggs galore, but there have been some pointed ESB moments- that seems the likeliest outcome here - villains win and good guys are scattered

One wonders how they will handle the Ray Stephenson issue? Presumably his character (being the best on the show) is not meant to die yet. But they might have to retro it, like Alex in The Expanse.

Filoni has intimated that there were big plans for Baylan
I was thinking about the Alex comp, but it’s probably too much plot to just cauterize
So either they find some way to have shin and/or Sabine take over that story
Or just recast

Next season is a long-term issue. I was just wondering how they might handle the finale. Kill him off via CGI or something?
Well yeah but whatever they do now is tied to future plans
Like you’re not going to cgi kill him if you’re going to recast the role

Maybe the shortish run time indicates that they cut some Baylan scenes
I can see a very cliffhanger finish for him and next season Shin finds his robes/crystal somewhere and ‘takes up the mantle’

Yep, lots of ways they could do it too. An earlier line lends itself to him having hubris about a power existing on the planet that others were too weak to go in search of. They could definitely use that. Maybe he discovers a cave that's an incredibly ancient temple. Being that he's underestimated the amount of power from this long undisturbed source, it overpowers him, consumes him! When he emerges, he's not the same person anymore in more ways than one. His power in the force is much stronger but the surge of force (I dont know winging it) through his body almost kills him. When Shin finally finds him, he has to spend months in side of a top of the line Boba Fett signature series Bacta Tank. His body does heal from his wounds but he's unrecognizable afterwards.
