Ezra and his reluctance to use the jedi lightsaber was interesting, still feel unclear on the range of his powers/abilities...and that is fine, also think the actor is crushing it as an aged Ezra

Agreed- they made a new way of lightsaber fighting, and it was cool.

Baylan remains the possibly best part of this show and the mystery of his motives is palpable
I don't want his arc hastened but I think recasting would be unwise/uncouth
Shin also becomes a very interesting piece in this now, she should be the bridge here for his story

Yeah this is "Star Wars" without being "same old Star Wars" - really fun and shows how ludicrously badly the 7/8/9 movies let us down.

So far live-action Thrawn feels more like book Thrawn than animated Thrawn did. I think it's because they aren't writing for kids so there's an expectation that adults can better understand his machinations and the dread of his intellect. No need to show him karate-chopping robots. He's a bigger threat staring at a screen.

I don't think anything is up with Ezra. It doesn't seem like Filoni is trying to surprise us with anything here. Everything has seemingly been straightforward despite all the speculation.

What a doofus. So, he's berating them for doing an excellent job of continuity.

Also, he's just wrong. The only distracting eyes are the obviously fake, over the top blue eyes of Ezra. He looks like one of the Spice-addicted Fremen from Dune. Humourously, this fellow says they look good. Frankly, Hera's eyes look very natural even though I'm well aware she's wearing coloured contacts.
