Ahsoka Live Action Series (Disney+) (6 Viewers)

Yep, lots of ways they could do it too. An earlier line lends itself to him having hubris about a power existing on the planet that others were too weak to go in search of. They could definitely use that. Maybe he discovers a cave that's an incredibly ancient temple. Being that he's underestimated the amount of power from this long undisturbed source, it overpowers him, consumes him! When he emerges, he's not the same person anymore in more ways than one. His power in the force is much stronger but the surge of force (I dont know winging it) through his body almost kills him. When Shin finally finds him, he has to spend months in side of a top of the line Boba Fett signature series Bacta Tank. His body does heal from his wounds but he's unrecognizable afterwards.
Yeah I was think some Paply style lightning scarring
But SbtB is right too, can’t have enough bad*** masks

maybe a possession by Abeloth? And drastically change his appearance? But, that would basically kill one of the most liked characters in the series. Lot's of possibilities and theories out there, I just hope his story doesn't just end mid-sentence Sopranos sty......

For what it's worth, my theory on the season finale....
Thrawn will escape back to "our galaxy", leaving Ezra, Sabine, Ahsoka, Baylan, and maybe Shinn stranded. This will set up a duel plot where we get a bit of Thrawn's return with Luke, Leia and Jason Syndula playing parts. Jason Syndula will be the canon replacement for the expanded universe's Jacen Solo. Meanwhile, back in the galaxy even farther away, the good guys will be in conflict with whatever it is that Baylon has up his sleeve....maybe Abeloth, not sure there. They will have to wait until another whale gathering at the boneyard to catch a ride back. This is all setting up the whole Father, Mother, Brother, Sister storyline. Jason Syndula or Ezra will be the Brother, maybe Ahsoka is the Sister, Baylon the Father and Abeloth (I hope) is the Mother. My belief is that this series is a setup for a movie that takes place much later in the timeline, maybe a duology or trilogy even, where there is the ultimate Force showdown in our galaxy. And no, I haven't forgotten about the Kylo and Rey storyline. I have faith in Filoni tying all this together. It just feels to me like they want to culminate the Star Wars universe in a big send off, leaving them free to continue making "backstories" in the future. Maybe much earlier in the timeline like Darth Bane or even the birth of the Jedi Order, which would be pretty cool. There you have it. Tear it apart!

Filoni was super interested in exploring deep Force mythology, but Baylan was the lynchpin of that - Shin is the closest sun but obviously a pale substitute
We know nothing of how Baylan thinks/knows all of this (obviously they/it would be in the other galaxy)
Maybe witches can be retroed to explaining on even Bindu somehow

I know it's behind the scenes, but it's kind of weird seeing Shin smile...

Every scene she is in, I'm just hoping they kill her off. She's the worst.

I did really enjoy Ezra's force fighting without needing weapons, that was really well done and very interesting. I also liked the fact that even with 2 sabers Ashoka couldn't beat Baylan. Although not quite the Thrawn from the Zahn books, he is by far one of the most competent bad guys we've seen and it's quite refreshing. But Sabine just grates on my nerves and I'm hoping for an emotional moment where she has to sacrifice herself to save Ezra or Ashoka.

i'm not sure - Ashoka bested Maul, stood tall against Vader and was one of the best fighters ever
now at her peak she was a physical phenomenon - leaping from falling ship to falling ship
'present day' Ashoka hasn't shown much of that acrobatic flair- maybe that's by choice, maybe she no longer has that full range (except that she jumped out of her ship, so...??)
she was distracted in the first fight - second fight, i think if she wanted to/could have spent the time, she could have won

also, i suggest (guess) that you might want to get comfortable with Sabine, i think she's just starting her arc

I think they have made attempts to show the acrobatic Ahsoka, it's just harder to do in live action. In nearly every fight they have had her do something "acrobatic". I think they are absolutely emphasizing that Baylan is REALLY good, so good Ahsoka is at least evenly matched. I think they are building to some dramatic way Ahsola beats him from a narrative standpoint, or that someone else beats him. He's definitely being built up from some shocking moment because they have made him Dooku level good.
