I mean people have to be thinking this. I think if Payton was still here it would have been 6 games.

It really should be interesting to see how the Broncos are treated in games and with off the field stuff if anything happens.

METAIRIE, La. -- New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara apologized at length Friday for his role in a 2022 fight in Las Vegas that left a man injured.

Kamara took responsibility for his role in the incident, which occurred on the eve of the Pro Bowl last February. He was taken into custody at Allegiant Stadium after the game.

"It's a tough ordeal to be in," Kamara said after Saints practice Friday. "You know, I never want to be involved in something where someone gets hurt or severely injured or anything. Poor judgment on my end, definitely a bad decision, but I'm a man. Everything I've ever done in my life, I've stood on. And I can take accountability for it and I can say when I'm wrong and I was completely wrong."

"Obviously, it's hard to do that when you've got such an incident like that. I'll be lying if I said it wasn't tough," Kamara said. "Lost a lot throughout this ordeal, definitely not looking for any pity, not looking for somebody to give me a pat on the back and say it's OK. I know what I did, I know what I was involved in. I definitely take responsibility and that's part of being a man and growing. From here, I just have to make the right decisions."

With Hill and Williams in the backfield, not sure about goal line carries though.

I can't say that the NFL hasn't been fair about this. More than fair. Maybe almost too fair.
I would say hell has frozen over but it's 97 degrees so I know better.

I didn't...Lammons was the guy that took it too far...if he don't stomp dude it goes from felony assault to just a fight

#1. KA Manned up and Initiated the meeting with RG
#2. KA has been in the league going on 7 yrs WITHOUT ANY BLEMISHES
#3. We don't know what the Agreed to CONDITIONS were, and knowing RG, It wasn't a tell your side and I will give you a 3 game suspension. So, I am sure this maybe the minimum WITH PROBATION like TERMS.
IMO, this was far better than most any one of us could have anticipated coming from the warden. Should be exciting for #1: now we have to let the young rookie RB take some hits, and #2 HOME game #4 vs Bucs..That game will be electricfied with KA return..all in all Everyone wins.

Both pleaded to misdemeanor charges. So it would make sense both received the same number of games.

Yeah I feel ya, but IMO they had 2 completely different roles in said incident. Oh well it is what it is...they both get 3 games apology or not - pretty much my point.

Why week 3? AK won’t be back until week 4.

The week 3 opponent has to feel better knowing that AK41 definitely won’t be lining up vs them.

I see everyone saying this is “good news” and “best case scenario”… but it’s still the first 3 games of the season, and the Saints haven’t exactly WON many games w/out AK since he showed up!

I was thinking 3-0 or at worst 2-1 after 3 games before this news… now I’m hoping for 2-1 and 0-3 is worst case.

Look, I like Williams and think he’s a solid dude… but he’s a goal line RB, not anything close to AK!

I love the potential of Kendre Miller!!! …but he’s a completely unproven rookie coming off of a meniscus injury.

Color me worried.
