Andy Dalton is PFF’s 2nd highest graded passer this season (1 Viewer)

More than half of Andy's interceptions were thrown on 3rd down.
More than half his attempts on 3rd down are short of the first down marker.

Sweet Jesus... More than half!?

What does that have to do with passer rating?

Who leads the offense?

What facts? Where are the facts?

What does that have to do with passer rating?
And just what is the problem with Dalton's passer rating?

Would love to see these numbers. Thanks.

With the exception of the 3 turnover melt down at the end of the first half of the cardinals game, all of his Interceptions come in the 2nd half too.
He’s only thrown 7 picks all year. So, yeah, taking 3 of them is gonna skew the numbers a bit, lol.

Andy Dalton only converts a 3rd down passing attempt for a 1st down 39.6% of the time.

Just wow. That's big ugly.

Not really. It’s better than Brady, Kyler Murray, Lamar Jackson, Derek Carr and Daniel Jones and right there with Justin Herbert.

Numbers need context.

Ints 4 of 7 on 3rd down:

Passes short of the yard to gain was a twitter post I read the Sunday after the Steelers beat us. I'll try to find original source.
That was six weeks ago.

And again, 7 INTs is a very small sample size to be drawing large conclusions without context.

Why you trying to spin with a cooked Tom Brady, a Dude that rather play video games, a running QB, and Two nobody QBs... Oh yeah Justin Herbert? The number is atrocious.

You trying argue that being 19th... Is okay? Man... Whatever floats your boat.

19th among 32? Given how bad our running game has been and how some of the QBs on that list aren’t even starters?

19th is the definition of “okay” or “average.” That’s kinda the whole point. Even with terrible circumstances, his production has been “average.”

Man yall Dalton haters are somethin. Hopefully just misplaced frustration but who knows?
