Anyone else question why did Carr leap? (4 Viewers)

reckless play. 2nd down, we’ve got the lead and he already picked up positive yardage.
Watch it, it wasnt a lot of contact. Barely touched the ground with his head. He's another one of the easy Concussion crowd...

Yeah, I questioned it and decided it was because he is a competitive football player that desperately wanted to win a game. I stopped thinking about it right there.

Yup, I'm never going to fault a player for giving maximum effort regardless how it turns out.....Carr hasn't been and never really was the problem with this offense....

This picture says it all he had no room to stay in bounds and not take a hit. He was trying to make a play and instead he got knocked out of the game. Leaving his feet was a dumb move but why are we knocking a guy for trying to make a play?

I love hindsight/what if stuff like the next guy but as a fan base we really pick on this QB for dumb stuff.

Sure the better play right then and there would have been to just slide. He would have still got creamed by the defender but he may well have drawn a flag and got the 1st by penalty.

Good God. The guy busted his arse for the team but it's still not good enough. In a split second he didn't make the perfect decision. For his sake I hope he moves on to a fan base that will at least be fair with him. This is ridiculous.
Agreed , he made a split second decision. He got I mired it’s part of the fame. Sometimes I wonder if y’all understand football or just plain buttholes.

Isn't making split second decisions what QB's get paid for?

Someone questions why a QB makes a split second decision and throws a pass into tight triple coverage and the ball gets intercepted, 99.9% of fans say is a bad decision and the QB should not have thrown that pass.

But question why a QB tries to leap over a 6'2" receiver, "how dare you?!?!".

It was a bad decision, no more, no less. "He's a competitor", "he's the worst", "who dare you?", "no, how dare you?" I'll leave you to that.

The lack of football knowledge that are in threads like this should at least entertain you a little. That’s how I have to view it lol
