brees is playing great - he will even get better, and that makes me excited! he has a great bunch of guys to throw to, and the o-line has been better than i had originally expected and is doing pretty well protecting him and keeping him off his back every other play

I need to apologize to Brees and everyone else for having doubts and saying Brees was a bad pick up. I won't lie, in preseason and the first couple of games I thought that Brees' injury was still bothering him and he would never recover and the Saints would be in the hole with him and we'd be looking for another QB. Boy have I been wrong. But I will happily eat my crow with a monstrous smile and say "Sorry I was wrong."

Same here. It certainly looked more serious back then. He's still no Dan Marino or anyhting, but he clearly gets job done and has become one the biggest bright spots of team.
