The Chiefs were not upset when he left. They enjoyed his personality and attitude but every fan I saw said he fell off hard his last year there. Like he hit the cliff fast. He also wasnt courted hard by any other team. Definitely a major downgrade for us.

Looking back on events prior to the season. It took a long time for him to sign then he disappeared. I swear he was 99% retired and decided to come back and steal some paychecks in his hometown.

The front office was looking for make a splash with the fans and they fell for it.

He's looked pretty bad. No play making, whiffing on tackles and seemingly afraid of contact, and I don't see the leadership he was supposed to bring either. I defended him the past few weeks, but I can't anymore. He's been around too long to play this way. The whole secondary needs to get it together. The absence of Ceedy, Williams and Jenkins is showing big time!

MW was elite and gave everything he had on every play. All Saints fans ever did was clown him.

Seeing the guys who leave and are suddenly studs from being kind of good at times on our defense tells me all i need to know about DA and his coaching.

He’s PLAYING OUT OF POSITION. The Saints dropped the ball big time not resigning Marcus Williams. We went 7 years trying to find a FS finally got one and let him walk.

Tyrann Mathieu is not a SS

He’s a NCB or FS even a situational LB,

Mayes is a SS yet we have him playing FS

I said this last week our safeties are bad , and it’s not going to get better playing them how we are.
