the most embarrassing thing should be not being able to tell the difference between 5'10 and 6'4

I think that your friend has one hell of a story. How many other people have a Brandon Cooks autograph on a Colston jersey?

Coleman not Cooks.

one is 5'11 the other is 6'4" and can pass MUCH easier for Colston. lol

I say grown ups asking for the signature of other grown ups is a weird practice. :idunno:

What the hell is this supposed to mean?

So because we're adults, we're supposed to kick our fandom down a notch? We're not supposed be excited to meet a player we enjoy watching play for our team? We're not supposed to want a memento from when we got to meet our team in person?

Well screw that. I'm 31 years old and I definitely would love an autograph from Colston. That dude has been an upstanding teammate and a huge pleasure to watch on Sundays.

If being a fan of a player makes me childish, well then I guess I'm not interested in being a "grown up."

It's the ultimate conversation piece.
"Hey why does this have Coleman's name on it?"
"Well you see.....yada, yada....hahahaha"
"Lets have another beer!"

I'm having trouble seeing the downside.

Yeah, I think the story may be better than having the Jersey.

If Brandon Coleman has a great year, it maybe even better!

Thanks guys. Needed some other opinions in the mix to realize it is what it is and it maybe a diamond in the rough.

You're welcome to do whatever you want to justify your fandom. I just think that having a person's name on a piece of paper or jersey or whatever else is a goofy way of confirming it. Do you win fan points when you show off your autographs to friends? It just seems absurd to me, but you are free to ask for whatever evidence you wish as long as the other person is willing to accommodate.

I wouldn't be upset in the least. Brandon Coleman is going to be a stud this year!

I'm willing to bet that if you were to write a letter to Colston/the Saints PR people and send them the jerseys that they'd hook up the signatures for you.

It's Outrageous, Egregious, and Preposterous.

You're disgrace, is my case.

I have autographs of the best players on our team since 2006. On authentic Saints helmet, authentic NFL balls, and jerseys, and at the end of the day its still just players signatures. Its not like its worth a million dollars. A few hundred at most. Makes for a great conversation piece but as for monetary value I dont see it as being that. If my house burnt down and I lost them, while it would suck, it would be the least of my worries.
