Bobby Hebert said he hopes Eli Apple goes to IR (2 Viewers)

I was thrilled when Deke was fired, and I'll start listening again when Bobby is shown the door.

When his sorry butt, 0-whatever in playoffs, is criticizing Drew Brees, I was done with him.

Was the appeal with Bobby that he was from Louisiana?

Vilma would be good, but he's got a TV gig and lives in Miami. Think Fujita is out in Cali.

I don't think WWL has the budget to be flying guys in. They'd want someone living in the region.

IDK what their reasoning was, but he'd been doing a falcons show in ATL what seemed like literally right up until he got the job at WWL.

Booby is a drunken, washed up nobody who thinks his only way to stay relevant is to say stupid, outlandish things like this. And also by being the self-proclaimed "Founding Father of the Who Dat Nation" - which he is not. We were Saints fans cheering on his loser self when he was a Saints QB - some long before that. We didn't need him to come along and galvanize us as a fan base. We were actually better off without him.

Bobby was ok when he started. But he still loved to hear his own voice way too much. He'd have a star on and monopolize the "interview" (< LOL)

Please go away :byee:

It’s a really bad look for Louisiana to have Bobby anywhere near a microphone. He’s an opinionated drunken mental midget. I heard his comment. The other announcer told him that wasn’t cool to say. And Bobby doubled, tripled and quadrupled down on saying he hopes Apple goes to IR so he could say his favorite drunk slur of the day.....jack rabbit.

I might be late with this news, but:

WWL did "QB to QB" this morning, but it wasn't with Bobby Hebert talking to Drew. Someone else was talking to Drew; didn't catch who it was.
Pretty certain he Monday morning session is not with Hebert, but I am not 100% sure on that!

Bob Mitchell (?) or Tommy Tucker was on this a.m. It's Tucker's normal radio show ... 6 -10 a.m. or something. Anyway, whoever was hosting this morning kept calling this morning's segment "QB to QB". Maybe a replay from yesterday evening?

EDIT: I see what St. Greg just wrote. Yeah, I think Tommy Tucker just messed up this morning and flubbed the name of the segment.

(Man, was it Tucker or Mitchell this morning? Cannot recall)

I believe MMQB is actually recorded after the game in the locker room. Then they play the recording on Monday morning.
