If he played every down he wouldn’t be the closer that he has been this year. Fresh legs at the end of a game make a huge difference.

What other routes does he run that he has been successful? You said he hes talented but at what? Put him all over the field to run what route? What gave you this assumption that I want him to run go routes all game? Was it the part that I said “use him all over the field,” or the part where I said to use him “even out of the backfield?”
Is that a Sazerac or a Negroni? An underrated part of having a tendency is the ability to use it against a defense that overplays it.
This is what it is. Fans have to remember that Shaheed missed all of 2022's training camp, then almost all of this year's OTAs and almost all of this year's camp. He's had little instruction/installation time. Shaheed is truly learning on the job.Maybe he is still figuring things out assignment wise though.

I think part of the reason for the limited snaps is that he plays STs......and at this point, I think that is a mistake. It's an unnecessary risk, he is too valuable to the offense at this point....I hope they find another PR soon and Shaheed gets more snaps on offense....it's just another real head scratcher to me.....
It's only underrated when you have a coach that knows when to flip the tendency and use that against them.An underrated part of having a tendency is the ability to use it against a defense that overplays it.
When Bowden was first brought up from the practice squad going into Week 2, I thought he was going to take the special-teams reps from Shaheed. Hasn't happened yet.
He's definitely not throwing a "key" block, he's in the game to block no different than the men before him (Coleman, Smith, Kirkwood etc) he has no impact as a receiver but for the sake of looking multiple he comes in to block. In the Colt game, Bowden has 24 snap vs Shaheed 18. Curious why he's used more than Shaheed.
I see in the highlights, number 5 is in the picture often, either throwing that key block or drawing a defender away.
I'm curious if he could become Taysom Hill lite. He was drafted by the Raider as RB / WR and he was a QB in college. Now, his role seems to be decoy or blocker. Could it be expanded?
Amen to this. Fatigue is a real thing and usage rates often beget injury.Sometimes less is better this aint madden you cant send a guy down a field 50 yards each play 30 plays a game without wearing down his legs. Sometimes its better to let him be fresh and bring him in when the def is fatigue also if you start forcing him the ball you going see that blanket coverage safety over top corner underneath. I actually wont be suprise if it begins in a couple of weeks and his prod slows down.
