That's what it sounds like to me. It will be the Drew and Taysom show next season with Teddy as Frank Reich.

I believe he can play at a high level 3-4 years. I think we are set up to compete but we just need another WR.

I think he means that he wants to win another trophy and ride off into the Louisiana sun. He wants to win another SB but I think if he gets there, win or lose that will be the end and he will feel like that was “on his own terms”. Just my opinion though.

I’ve said this on here before but I think most of us will never get the chance to go through the training regimen that elite professional athletes go through. It’s different and better now than it was 20 years ago. For the next 3-4 years we may only see Drew at 95% but that QB will still be great.
I love Teddy and Taysom and would love to keep both as well but I wouldn’t be surprised to see one of them gone.

He’s fine for about 11-13 games but then he starts to fade. The injury actually helped late in the season. But it caught up to him in the Vikings game. It’s teams with a fast and talented front 7 that’s the biggest challenge. Dallas, Minnesota, LA Rams.

Drew Brees is great for a bunch of regular season wins, but he's too one deminsonal for good teams in elimination games.

I dont think it caught up to him in the vikes game, he was pressured inside, always his weakness. The oline failed us in a big way on sunday.

Short and medium passing routes i have confidence he can be dominant all season long. We need that 2nd WR badly and we need a return to form in 2020 with the run.

If we do lose teddy, we will need another competent backup, otherwise SP will limit taysoms usage and i want him more involved.

Drew didn't fail us in the Vikings game.. His o-line did. Dude was pressured the entire game.

Not running the ball hurt us. Not having any receivers step up to make plays hurt us.

Drew can't do it all.
