To the guy that asked if I was interested in Jarvis Jones (yet he and Chase ran the same 40). Yes I did want Jones, and I am not even an SEC fan. But the difference in competition the two faced was night and day.

Ya the same competition Jamarcus russel faced, how'd that workout? It's not about competition but more a mixture of hard work and potential
 
I am not sure how anyone can question his athleticism. He shows great change of direction skills, a variety of pass rush moves, he has excellent closing speed, can drop into coverage, and reacts quickly. I see him as a potential strong side linebacker in our system.

Thats what im saying, he looks very explosive and has one HELL of a pop! he destroys the QB
 
I'm tired of seeing other teams with tackling machines that get 130, 140, and even 150 tackles per season. You can not predict who they will be by their measurables, coaches have to be able to notice their skills and give them a shot. We have been pretty poor at that for the past 15 years, I hope we get better.
 
Dude lives in the backfield. If Joe Vitt can get him some quality coaching at the next level I can see him being a difference maker for us in a year or two.

Me too actually. I think Rufus Porter when I hear the name Rufus, but that's neither here nor there. I think of Rufus and imagine him coming in and blowing people away. As is being posted here, competition means nothing, but Johnson really looked like a man among boys out there. I hope he pulls a Michael Strahan, coming from middle of nowhere Texas, and being the crown jewel of our defense.
