Two, some idiot must've really wanted to get into Hall H tomorrow. They just damn near cleared the convention center because someone pulled the fire alarm.
 
Biggest things out of the Jim Lee panel today. DC is going back to this class logo. And I'm ok with that.

Also, couldn't get into the Marvel Comics panel. They had lines like it was Hall H or something.
 
I'm going to have to catch up with all the Marvel announcements. Nothing from the headlines has really grabbed my attention so far, but I haven't read anything in detail yet.

As far as DC goes, literally everything I've seen from the Absolute line so far looks terrible. I do not see what the market for these books is.

I got an ashcan copy (actually two, but didn't tell anyone) of the new G.I. Joe series that's a part of the Energon Universe. Holy sheet, it's good. I've been pissed Joshua Williamson is leaving Batman and Robin. But between this and Superman, I'm quite ok.
 
DC's big panel is tomorrow, but considering everything that's been announced, plus solicits for October being out, I don't expect much unless something really comes out from left field.
 
When they said it's nearly impossible to get into Hall H on Saturday, they meant it. Maybe I should've pulled the damn fire alarm.
 
Wow. So me joking about someone pulling the fire alarm must have been true...

So there was a special screening of Deadpool and Wolverine in Hall H yesterday. Those invited received an email invitation with a barcode. Someone passed that email along... Then another... Then another. It kept happening until there was more people than seats. Issues probably could've been avoided but they did not scan the barcodes as people entered. People with legit invitations could not get in... Then came the fire alarm.

Dude, Marvel has a mini city outside. My arse was just too lazy to go out and take pictures (there's too much sun too).
 
My favorite titles for the last week as well as what I'm reading this week. It's amazing how I've progressed from a DC fanboy as a child/teen/YA to reading more indie titles than anything.
